Former Ticketmaster president among those to provide feedback, insight and guidance as company continues to scale
Calgary, AB – StellarAlgo, provider of the leading Customer Data Platform (CDP) for sports and live audience businesses, today announced the formation of an external advisory board. The advisory board will bring together global professionals to provide guidance, insight, and feedback to the StellarAlgo executive team as the company continues to execute on its vision of making omnichannel personalization possible for live audience businesses, and their partners, looking to connect with more than 2-billion avid fans worldwide.
Since the company’s founding in 2016, more than 85 live audience properties from across North America – including the New York Yankees, the Portland Trail Blazers, the Vancouver Canucks, the Vegas Golden Knights, and the USTA, which owns and operates the US Open tennis tournament – have partnered with StellarAlgo to better understand and engage with their fans and drive revenue using a digital-first, data-driven approach.
As sports and live events businesses resume hosting full-capacity audiences, StellarAlgo has invested heavily in further developing the transformational capabilities of its product offering, including testing and implementing additional CDP features; working collaboratively with partners to address personalized use cases; and expanding its product roadmap to meet rising demand for services. The collective insight and experience provided by an external advisory board will help the company ensure it continues to capture the evolving needs of its partners, and to identify and anticipate opportunities and challenges facing the industry in the future.

Joining the advisory board as an inaugural member is Jared Smith, president of Alterra Mountain Company. Smith brings more than 20 years’ experience in the live events and sports business industries to his role on the advisory board, including more than 15 years in various leadership roles at Live Nation Entertainment, including past president and global chairman of Ticketmaster.

Jared Smith served as president of Ticketmaster and executive vice president of Live Nation from 2013 through 2020, overseeing the world’s leading live event technology and services platform.
